Pony Racing Camp
Do you and your pony want to share the holiday of a lifetime?
Your pony gives you his all, every day of the year. This summer give him a holiday he’ll really enjoy. Pony Racing Camp is a five day experience you and your pony will remember forever.
Please note that the Junior Jockeys Age 11-13 camp has now amalgamated with the Junior Jockeys Age 14-15 and will take place 9th to 13th August 2010.
Date: 9th – 13th August 2010 (Junior Jockeys Age 14 - 15. Age as of the 1st January 2010) and (Junior Jockeys Age 11 - 13. Age as of the 1st January 2010)
What Experience Do I Need To Attend?
If you are age 11 – 15 and have:
- Attended a Level 1 training day at either the Northern Racing College, or the British Racing School
OR
- Competed in at least one Pony Club Pony Race, or a Point-to-Point Pony Race, then we look forward to welcoming you to Pony Racing Camp.
Programme to include:
- Daily riding and equicisor tuition
- Instruction from licensed jockeys
- An evening at the races, receiving a behind the scenes tour
- A visit to a racing stable, to include watching the horses at morning exercise
- Team building games and individual sporting competitions
- Racing Quiz and BBQ
Cost: £300.00, including all jockey and pony accommodation, meals, tuition, use of facilities and visits to places of racing interest.

Places are strictly limited to 12 junior jockeys, so an early application is essential to avoid disappointment.
