Amateur Rider Development Course
The Amateur Rider Development Course has been designed after consultation with the Amateur Jockey’s Association (AJA).
This course is aimed at those amateur riders who currently hold their Category A Licence and who would like to progress in the sport by receiving extra guidance.
Entry Criteria
Hold a Category A Permit (point to point riders may accepted subject to references)
This 3-day fully residential course includes:-
In the Saddle
- Starting Stalls practice
- Schooling
- Simulator Sessions
- Riding a Finish
- Riding Assessment with video feedback
Off the Saddle
- Diet and Nutrition Advice
- Sports Psychology
Cost
The cost of this course is £300.00 (inc of VAT) and includes all tuition, accommodation and meals.
