Rebecca Menzies

Rebecca Menzies

Rebecca Menzies completed the Level 3 Apprenticeship at the National Horseracing College in 2009, and her aim of the qualification was to enhance her skills and knowledge within the horseracing industry.

Rebecca has no background in the horseracing industry, Rebecca has worked hard and worked her way up the career ladder. Rebecca started her journey into the industry as Racing Staff, then progressed to racing secretary, then to travelling head lass, and then to the assistant trainer for Grade 1 and Cheltenham Festival winning trainer Ferdy Murphy. Rebecca is now a successful Racehorse Trainer, accumulating over 200 winners during her 7-year career.

Many of our Foundation Course graduates undertake their 6-week work placement with Rebecca and she acts as a great mentor for them, giving them opportunities and guides them to follow their dreams.
